MSMES’ FEEDBACK WORKSHOP AT LUDHIANA ON PUNJAB’S NEW INITIATIVES FOR INDUSTRY
With Punjab entreprenuers,particularly it’s MSMES having successully trying their might in establishing the newer ever ventures in manufactring besides strengthening exiting ones ,the Punjab Govt. appears building a better investment climate in the State by focussing on it’s outreach to the the entreprenuers through regular interactional programs with the entrepreuers thus instilling confidence in them. Punjab appears trying it’s best in improving it’s ranking in ease of doing business further upwards.
The Punjab’s Deaprtment of Industries and Commerce at Ludhiana-the Industrial Hub of the State supported by the district administration is also on a spree for interactional workshops with the MSMEs.
Today’s workshop chaired by Ms. Neeru Katyal, the Additional Deeputy Commissioner Ludhiana in the the presence of District Industry Office , GM Mahesh Khanna and others detailed about the newer initiatives /facilities given by Punjab Govt in recent times. While giving details they also solicited feedback fom the attending industry people about the Right to Business Act,2020,State Reforms Action Plan 2020 (SRAP),Business First Portal ,Ease Of Doing Business and IDBP-2017 etc etc.
In a Press Note from DIC, Ludhiana they said that they replied to all the querries of the entreprnuers present in the workshop.It was informed that Under this act any entreprenuer who wishes to establish it’s unit in Industrial Focal Point, Industrial Area or Specied Area as decided by Pb. Housing and Urban Develoment Department can upload his application on Invest Punjab Portal online and can also get all necessary clearnces/’Certificate of In-Principle Approval’ through this portal in time bound framework.For focal point area industries,thetime limit is 3 days only.For others it is within 15 days.All in principal approvals will be valid for 3.5 years within which they can get regular approvals,it has been informed .
