ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੈਰਾਲਿੰਪਿਕ ਪਾਵਰ ਲਿਫਟਿੰਗ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ, ਬੰਗਲੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਜੇਤੂ I
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 6 ਖਿਡਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ 19-20 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਗਲੌਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੈਰਾ ਪਾਵਰ ਲਿਫਟਿੰਗ ਚੈਂਪੀਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।
ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਜੇਤੂ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਚਾਰ ਨੇ ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ ਅਤੇ 2 ਨੇ ਸਿਲਵਰ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੂਬੇ, ਇਲਾਕੇ, ਸ਼ੁਭਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੱਰਥਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਵਧਾਇਆ।
ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਜੇਤੂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿਰਫ 6 ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੀ ਭਾਲ / ਭੇਜ ਸਕੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਣ, ਠਹਿਰਨ, ਵਰਦੀ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਖਰਚਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੈਰਾਲਿੰਪਿਕ ਪਾਵਰ ਲਿਫਟਿੰਗ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ ਲਈ ਅਰਜੁਨਾ ਅਵਾਰਡੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਹੇਲੂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਰ ਹੈ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਖੇਚਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਪਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਹਾਵਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੁੱਲਾਂਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸਾਰੀ ਟੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਾਪਸੀ ‘ਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।

Six Players From Punjab Participate In National Paralympics Powerlifting Championships-All Win Laurels
All the players remained winner in the National Paralympics Powerlifting Championships held at Bangalore on 19-20th March. Four of these players who won Gold and the other two winning Silver medals have made their Punjab State, friends and all well wishers so proud by their winning feats.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic constraints we could send only 6 players. The participating players in these games are mostly from downtrodden and economically weaker strata families.
Surprisingly, the Governmental sports departments never incur any expenses on their journey, stay, uniforms and registration .Therefore,it is only the Punjab Paralympics Power Lifting Association which meets their all of the expenses.
For providing coaching to these brave-hearts our revered S. Rajinder Singh Rahelu-An Arjuna Awardee deserves our special thanks and gratitude. The arrangements for sending this team were done by our respected S.Parvinder Singh Gohawar and S.Parminder Singh Phoolanwal who also deserve our best compliments.
We congratulate the whole the team and the team manager .We shall organise a special felicitation function when the teams arrive back.
