Under -16 District Basketball—-GURU NANAK CLUB (GIRLS) AND DAV THUNDERS (BOYS) ARE LUDHIANA DISTRICT BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS -DCP RUPINDER SINGH (PPS) GIVES PRIZES AND PATS ORGANISERS.
Ludhiana District’s Basketball Championships for the year concluded at Guru Nanak Stadium which witnessed many interesting matches between youthful hoopester teens. Guru Nanak Club (Girls) and DAV Thunders (Boys) emerge District Champions.
Today’s final event was presided over by Rupinder Singh DCP (PPS) Ludhiana Headquarters in presence of Olympian Hardip Singh,Dronacharya Awardee Baldev Singh,Teja singh Dhaliwal (Sr VP BFI), Vijay Chopra (PBA), Gurjit Singh Romana (SP) Rted. and scores of District basketball Association and players.Brij Goyal Treasurer thanked LBA coaches Narinder Pal,Saloni,Ravinder Gill, Sukhvinder Singh and other coaches of various schools who worked really hard with their teams. Sports officials from Ludhiana were also present.
All the dignitaries including Chief Guest interacted with the upcoming basketball players with advice to pursue sports and studies in equal proportion to excel in life.
