A young student author Chinmay Jagga 16 honored by Punjabi Sahitya Academy, Ludhiana at its annual Literary Meet-cum-Book Fair for his book: ” Thoughts of a 16-Year-Old ” .

On the 3rd day of Punjabi Sahitya Academy, Ludhiana’s Literary Meet-cum-Book Fair a young student author Chinmay Jagga 16 was honored for penning a book:
‘Thoughts of a 16-Year-Old ‘. The book presenting the perspectives of a sixteen-year-old about his world, covers a wide range of topics including philosophy, history, religion, pseudo-science, and poetry, containing a variety of viewpoints on important global issues also. Teenage author voices his opinions which may seem controversial, but it creates curiosity to read.
The honoring function was presided over by an eminent writer Ravinder Singh Bhattal.The young writer also got appreciation of famed writer Jaswant Jafar, Chief Guest on the occasion and also an eminent artist and poet Swarnjit Savi, President of Punjab Art council. Gulzar Pandher secretary of academy too congratulated the young author and his teachers particularly Dr Manishwa Gangwar Principal of his school Drishti Dr R C Jain Innovative Senior Secondary School Narangwal.
Brij Bhushan Goyal , a passionate book lover who is also working for rejuvenation of Punjab’s libraries with like minded people while appreciating gesture of Ludhiana Sahitya Academy said that for encouraging book reading culture and inspiring students and youth for writing requires teachers and librarians to keep hooked students to extra book reding beyond text books which always widens their horizon to understand life better.
