‘ HUMANE DISPOSITION IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR ‘—-Dr. SUNIL CHOPRA

‘ HUMANE DISPOSITION IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR ‘—-Dr. SUNIL CHOPRA

In wake of the current  catastrophe wreaking havoc in the country ,the significance of benevolence and brotherhood should not be undermined at any cost .All of us should not only strictly  take all suggested preventive measures to save ourselves, our  relatives and fellow beings but also show generosity and be compassionate to those who are sick, helpless and currently in crisis.
It is high time  to extend a helping hand to a person who is neither mentally, physically nor financially sound. We can voluntarily accompany those patients to hospitals who have been abandoned by their nears and dears or donate money to those who can’t buy food and medicines .
The prices of various commodities(masks, gloves, sanitisers, medicines, pulse Oxymeters) have either sky-rocketed or they have become scarce today and above all even with a lot of money in hands  a Covid positive patient may not find a bed in the hospital with an oxygen cylinder and a ventilator. In such critical moments, not only the patient gets disheartened but his attendants  also become very tense and panic-stricken .
At this crucial juncture a friend or a neighbour should come to the rescue of the needy and play his or her role not only happily, cordially but sincerely too.
The stress is taking a heavy toll on our brothers and sisters.Doctors and nurses are also highly stressed out, their spirits are not very high today. The desperate need of the hour is to maintain HUMANE DISPOSITION and boost the morale of everyone around us.God sees the truth but waits. If we will help the impoverished and sufferers today,we will be rewarded tomorrow.

Dr. Chopra has rightly highlighted and laid emphasis on the virtue of empathy – something that appears to be lacking these days. We see misery around us and remain blissfully oblivious in the mistaken notion that it is only someone else who is affected.

That someone could, tomorrow, be me or a loved one. Also that someone has a family, a doting child, a loving parent, and a dear spouse. It really doesn’t take much to pause and step in someone’s shoes to imagine their trauma and agony.

Persons like Dr. Chopra are a blessing to society. May their tribe always flourish and may the Almighty give us wisdom, strength and means to do whatever little we can for society during these trying times

Respected Desor Ji, your complimenting Dr, Chopra is quite appropriate.

Doctors are under stress in hospitals struggling to save serious Covid patients and also with other co-morbidities. Covid positivity as well as death rate has already gone very high in India even in wake of only fewer testing for our huge population. In cities, particularly more populace, the situation is precarious as people are not serious too in following covid protocols. In view of inadequate medical facilities including that of fewer doctors government hospitals must be made functional. In order that scarce resources and Para-Medical staff, we need to first invariably give these front line warriors the covid vaccine. Unutilized ventilators rusting in many are optimally used the bureaucrats at the helm must galvanize the working conditions of such hospitals. Private hospitals too need to be transparent in giving adequate care to the patients in such emergent situations.—-Brij Bhushan Goyal

Dr. Chopa has very generously and politely tried to wake up the human ethics in general public, administration as well as the medical care takers in this appreciable blog. Each and everyone should come forward to help the needy in his own way, without expecting any award or reward at this precarious juncture, when the whole world has come under the grip of this dreadful virus.
Awaiting eagerly for another such useful write-up by Dr. Sunil Chopra.

Helping hand and kind words are what each one of us can offer in addition to what Dr. Chopra has suggested. Let’s start from our fellow workers and domestic maids and daily wagers. Today it was heartening to find some of the dining units offering free home delivery of food for covid patients. Now public is rising to the occasion-all due to the awakening calls by persons like you. Dr Chopra. Looking forward to more of your articles on social causes.

Sir, this topic has been rightly highlighted by you as people need to understand the seriousness of situation and they should not indulge themselves in activities such as black marketing and hoarding of required medical supplies, rather people should come together and save the marking from this pandemic.

All should help others in every possible way.
But first one must help oneself and thereby in larger context whole society, by strictly following preventive measures.

Great concern expressed in the article by Dr.Sunil Chopra and this is the result of growth that led to individualism. Currently everyone life is existing in such a artificial bubble that created selfishness more and more.
We all are paying the price of increased wishes, less moral values and gain and only gain by hook or crook.
We have created extremely profit making and opportunistic society with little humane values left.
I think God will create a remedy one day.
Time to think who we are and the purpose.
